This was probably one of the most difficult shoots I’ve done so far. My very talented sister-in-law, Anne, teaches both vocals and piano in Costa Mesa, CA. She needed to have her professional head shot updated and she asked me. I said yes with all of the confidence in the world but the truth is I was struggling with how I was going to make this happen. Your head shot is the first impression that a client has of you. Your head shot is the image that will make people STOP or MOVE ON. This was a big deal. I’d love to hear what you think. Did you STOP or MOVE ON?
Although we needed to find that right image, there was not shortage of fun.
This was Anne getting a kick out of her nephew Liam. Probably one of my favourite shots of the day.
